The ancient costume martial arts blockbuster "Jianyu Jianghu", directed by Hong Kong famous director John Woo and screenwriter Su Zhaobin, is being filmed at Hengdian Film and Television Base. Mainland talented woman Jiang Yiyan, with her excellent performances in the films "Nanjing! Nanjing!" and "Autumn Joy", was invited by directors Woo and Su Zhaobin to challenge the ancient costume to perform a "virgin" fight for the first time. In an interview with the visiting media, Jiang Yiyan talked about the interesting things of filming, praised Woo’s fatherly feelings, and jokingly called director Su Zhaobin a "saint".
As the annual ancient suspense martial arts masterpiece, "Sword Rain Jianghu" gathers many stars such as Michelle Yeoh, Zheng Yusheng, Big S, Wang Xueqi, Jiang Yiyan, Yu Wenle, Guo Xiaodong, Lin Xilei, etc., telling a story involving two generations of Jianghu love and hatred. Since the film started, it has been filming nervously and quietly, and the shooting that lasted more than two months is coming to an end. In order to play the first "virgin" fight, the talented female Jiang Yiyan started fitness training early before entering the group, and privately learned secret techniques from the martial arts teacher. From the initial ignorance of sword tricks and "no way to start", to the free-spirited transformation into a generation of female heroes, a lot of effort has been made. The director also praised Jiang Yiyan’s first martial arts performance. Talking about the two directors of the crew, John Woo and Su Zhaobin, Jiang Yiyan said: "Director Woo is very meticulous and always pays attention to every detail of the set. He is like a father, making people feel the brilliance of fatherly love." When talking about Su Zhaobin, who is known as a screenwriter wizard, Jiang Yiyan said with a smile: "He can shoot for days and nights, like a’saint ‘!"
It is reported that Jiang Yiyan became addicted to "playing" because of the filming of "Jianyu Jianghu". He said that in 2010, he will try more fighting scenes and more different styles of fighting scenes, such as bare-handed combat or action movies with guns, to challenge himself and let the audience see different Jiang Yiyan.
