Recently, groups of Sichuan golden monkeys were found in the residential area of Luoyigou Village, the entrance community of Tangjiahe area of Giant Panda National Park. The location of this discovery is 1050 meters above sea level, which is the closest to the concentrated community settlements in this area.

Sichuan golden monkey is a rare animal endemic to China, which is a national first-class protected wild animal. It mainly lives in alpine forests in Sichuan, Gansu, Shaanxi and Hubei.
The relevant person in charge of the management office of Tangjiahe National Nature Reserve in Sichuan Province introduced that during the construction of the Giant Panda National Park, Tangjiahe adhered to the principle of exploring the coordinated development of ecological resources protection and community economy, and the harmonious coexistence between man and nature. After decades of ecological protection, more than 60 kinds of wild animals such as Sichuan takin, Tibetan Emirates monkey, yellow-legged owl and black bear frequently appeared in the area.
